Delete Your Account
You can request the deletion of your DigiSoundBox account and all associated data using the form below.
What Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Firebase account — your Google sign-in and authentication data
- Team sync data — your shop members, invites, and synced transactions on Firebase
- Server data — device registration, ML correction data, and threat reports on our servers
- Broadcast preferences — any broadcast or sync settings linked to your account
On-device data (transactions, settings, ML cache) is stored locally on your phone and is NOT affected by account deletion. To remove on-device data, uninstall the app or go to Android Settings → Apps → DigiSoundBox → Clear Data.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, all associated data on our servers and Firebase will be permanently erased. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use team sync or ML features again.
Request Deletion
Alternative: Email Request
You can also request account deletion by sending an email to support@digisoundbox.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include your registered email address.
Processing Time
Account deletion requests are processed within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted. During the processing period, your account remains active.
Data Retention After Deletion
- Anonymous ML data: Anonymized feature vectors (numbers only, with no link to your account) may be retained as they contain no personally identifiable information
- Legal obligations: We may retain certain data if required by law or to resolve disputes
- Backups: Data in automated backups will be permanently deleted within 30 days
