IMPORTANT: Please read this disclaimer carefully before using DigiSoundBox. By using the App, you acknowledge and accept all disclaimers stated below.
1. Not a Financial Service
DigiSoundBox is a notification reading application. It reads notifications from payment apps and SMS on your device and converts them to voice announcements. It does NOT:
- Process, initiate, authorize, or complete any financial transaction
- Act as a bank, payment processor, money transfer service, or financial advisor
- Store, hold, or manage any funds, accounts, or financial instruments
- Provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice
2. No Affiliation
DigiSoundBox is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any bank, financial institution, UPI provider, payment gateway, or digital wallet provider. This includes but is not limited to:
HDFC Bank, SBI, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, PNB, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Union Bank, IndusInd Bank, Federal Bank, PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, WhatsApp Pay, BHIM, Amazon Pay, or any other financial entity mentioned in the App or on this website.
All bank names, UPI app names, payment service names, and logos are trademarks of their respective owners.
3. Fraud Detection Limitations
The fraud and phishing detection features in DigiSoundBox are provided AS AN ADDITIONAL SAFETY LAYER ONLY. They:
- Use on-device pattern matching and heuristics — NOT guaranteed to catch all threats
- May fail to detect new, sophisticated, or region-specific fraud techniques
- May produce false positives (legitimate messages flagged as threats)
- Should NEVER be relied upon as your sole protection against financial fraud
You must always exercise your own judgement and independently verify any suspicious financial communication.
4. Classification Accuracy
The App uses machine learning to classify transactions as received, sent, or failed. This classification:
- Depends on the format and content of SMS messages and notifications, which vary across banks, regions, and countries
- May occasionally misclassify transactions (e.g., classify a debit as a credit, or a balance alert as a transaction)
- Improves over time through user corrections but is never 100% accurate
- Should NOT be relied upon for accounting, auditing, tax filing, or legal purposes
5. No Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, One91 Networks Pte. Ltd., its directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, and affiliates shall NOT be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill
- Financial losses from missed, delayed, incorrect, or undetected notifications
- Financial losses from undetected fraud, phishing, or scam messages
- Any damages arising from the Team Sync feature or data shared with team members
- Any damages arising from third-party service failures (Firebase, Google Play, OneSignal)
- Any damages arising from device limitations, OS updates, or compatibility issues
6. International Users
DigiSoundBox works globally using your phone's default language and currency settings. However:
- Deep SMS parsing support is available for India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Indonesia. Other countries rely on notification reading which may have limited parsing accuracy.
- Compliance with local financial regulations, data protection laws, and privacy requirements in your jurisdiction is your responsibility
- The App may not comply with specific regulatory requirements in all countries
- Some features (like team sync or ML learning) may involve international data transfer
7. Use at Your Own Risk
By downloading, installing, and using DigiSoundBox, you expressly acknowledge that:
- You use the App entirely at your own risk
- You will not rely solely on the App for financial record-keeping, fraud detection, or transaction verification
- You will maintain independent records of your financial transactions through your bank and payment providers
- You accept all limitations described in this Disclaimer, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy
8. Regulatory Disclaimer
DigiSoundBox is developed and published by One91 Networks Pte. Ltd., incorporated in Singapore. The App:
- Is NOT licensed, regulated, or supervised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)
- Is NOT a payment service under the Payment Services Act 2019
- Is NOT a financial advisor under the Financial Advisers Act
- Does NOT fall under the purview of the Securities and Futures Act
- Complies with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore
- Is NOT a telecommunications service under IMDA regulations — it reads device notifications with user permission only
For users in India: This App is not regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), or Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). It does not facilitate, process, or interfere with any payment or banking transaction.
